What are Evil Spirits?
Imagine you're playing a game with your friends, and someone cheats. That's kind of what evil spirits do. They try to trick us into doing bad things, and they don't want us to be happy or close to God. The Bible calls them "demons" or "unclean spirits." They're like bad angels who don't want to follow God's rules.
The Kingdom of Evil
If we believe in God's kingdom, we need to know that there's also a kingdom of evil. It's like a big group of bad guys who work together to try and defeat God's good plans. But don't worry, God is more powerful than they are!
Jesus, Our Super Hero
Just like every good super hero, Jesus has His enemies. The Bible says that Jesus is our Savior and our Protector, and that He has given us special tools to help us fight against evil. In the Bible, it says:
* "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."(Ephesians 6:11)
* "Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:17)
* "We are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12)
The Armor of God
So, what is the armor of God? It's like a special suit that helps us protect ourselves from evil. It includes:
* The helmet of salvation: This is like a special helmet that protects our minds and helps us think clearly.
* The breastplate of righteousness: This is like a special vest that keeps our hearts pure and helps us make good choices.
* The belt of truth: This is like a special belt that keeps us tied to the truth and helps us stay honest.
* The shoes of peace: These are like special shoes that help us walk in peace and stay calm, even in difficult situations.
* The shield of faith: This is like a special shield that protects us from the attacks of evil and helps us trust in God.
* The sword of the Spirit: This is like a special sword that helps us fight against evil and defend ourselves with the Word of God.
The Spade of Prayer

Be Brave, Kids!
